i am afiliated with 2 clients who both want to incorporate video into their sites. one would be taped and preloaded segemnts, very small screen like apple trailers.
another is a huge massive load of all video. I am getting concerned we have bitten off more than we can chew. About how many users using how much bandwidth on how much dedicated hosting will be the limit?
What are realistic customer support and downtime stats?
I think it would be prudent to either timeout users in a queue after maybe 15 minutes or stall further logins, is that coomon? I'd rather put a hold on logins than just overload the frontend and sink the site. Does anyone here currently manage a video hosted content site?
