DomainForums.com is an internet domain name forum, marketplace and online community for domainers and domain owners.

As a private members forum, DF requires users to Register for a (free) membership in order to access and use the site. Visitors are able to view certain content but have limited access to the forums.

As a Registered Member, users are required to follow the Membership Rules & Guidelines for DomainForums.com:

A) Introduction

These Rules & Guidelines are designed to ensure that the DF community operates in a safe, friendly and fun way where members can learn, share and make money from domain names. Listed below are some fixed rules and other general guidelines on proper conduct as a DF member. All members are required to follow the community rules and guidelines. Offending members may be given a warning or banned from the forum for ignoring the rules.

B) DF General Rules
  1. A member may only ever have one (1) DomainForums.com account, where the account may not be shared with anyone else and the member is not permitted to let others access their account.
  2. Please choose your usernames carefully during registration, requests to change usernames may take some time to process & verify.
  3. Be polite, courteous and show respect to other members in a cordial manner.
  4. Do not make any discriminating or negative remarks against another member's racial or ethnic origin, gender or sexual tendency and religious beliefs or any other potentially sensitive personal characteristics.
  5. Do not post or publish any personal information about another member unless it is to warn the community of a fraud or scam by an existing member where verifiable proof is available.
C) DF Forum Posting Rules
  1. Posting in the Correct Forum: Members are required to make posts in the correct forums related to the subject of the post. Threads may be deleted if found in the wrong forums.
  2. Duplicate Postings: Please do not make duplicate postings of the same posts. New members may have their posts moderated, so they may not appear instantly.
  3. Spam Posts: Spam posts of any kind will not be tolerated at DomainForums.com, do not make posts just to advertise your site, link or to generate a higher post count.
  4. Posting Ads & Links: Members may ONLY post ads and links to their own sites or related sites in the "Advertising" section. Links posted in forums must be related to the content.
  5. Posting Offensive Content: Members may not post adult content or any other material that may be offensive to other members of the community.
  6. Affiliate Links: Members are not permitted to post any type of affiliate links in DF or have affiliate links in their signature files.
  7. Signature Files: Links are not permitted in signature files.

D) DF Marketplace Rules
  1. Domain Ownership: Only registered owners of domain names may list them for sale in the marketplace
  2. Domain Buyers: All buyers are expected to make payments for purchased domains promptly according to the agreed terms of the transaction.
  3. Domain Sellers: All sellers are expected to assist in the transfer of the domain to the buyer promptly after receiving payment or according to the agreed terms.
  4. Domain(s) in the Post Title: All Domains For Sale posts/threads must have at least one of the listed domains in the title of the post.
  5. Comments in ForSale Posts: Members are not permitted to make comments in ForSale Threads unless it is a question or statement related to purchasing the domain.
  6. Thread Bumping: Sellers are not allowed to bump threads with posts unless the post has a material impact on the domain sale offering such as a lowering of prices.
  7. Trademark Domains: Domains that infringe on third party trademarks may not be listed for sale in the DF Marketplace. Members are responsible for the content in their postings.

The Rules listed above cover most of the key requirements for members. There are many other areas where members are expected to behave in a proper way that cannot be listed in its entirety.

The owners and management of DomainForums.com reserve the right to add or change these Rules & Guidelines at any time.
