ok i'm older than most of you on the forum. Listen, when i was growing up on the farm we had to walk to school, use push button or princess phones, keychains without computers, and rubik's cube was the closet thing we had to a technological challenge. Tv was something from the living room. The TRS-80's were in the high school computer lab.
today: I tweaked site, finished a screen scraping gig, took two calls at once wireless, submitted an online report, then online bills paid, then heard cellphone reminder, walked to store with radio player, scanning stations. Now I am watching "A Very Long Engagement " and "Gattaca" between window browses.
I have the same 6 bucks in my purse since last time i went to the atm, like 3 weeks ago. I know the last 4 digits of every credit card in my purse.
I consume more online than realtime. I have to leave later, to buy actual stamps.
It takes me milliseconds to find a flash drive, minutes to find my keys. DVD's litter the floor, and i have to remind my self to read without cathode ray intervention.
