I was 18. In fact, SiliconFinance.net was the domain. I was thinking along the lines of a venture capital firm that provided capital to young startups. That was before the Internet bubble burst the first time and at a time when all I did was check stocks online. It was the most fascinating thing to a finance major in college especially since you could own your own stock and manage it online. Today, that seems ridiculous, but back then the online stock sites had barely even gotten started.
