Hey all, I am quite new to the whole development and sale of websites and all that... Im a coder but I dont have any developed websites and never really have, but I am interested in learning.

So my question is, what is hot at the moment? I have noticed alot of people mentioning freelance websites and games sites, but what else is there, and what usually does well?

Also, how do you people market your sites to get other people going on them?
