I have a domain name we are building at new host, customer asks...

"(e.g. DMOZ listing, links to about 75-80 sites, MSN Search results, Yahoo Directory, Google Groups, about 1900-50,000 existing inbound links, depending on who counts, etc.), can all of this be pointed at a new site? Will I re-start the "Google clock".

Is it true his page ranking and all to date will fall by the wayside?
