What do you really need to know to run a dedicated server?
I've been considering getting a dedicated server for a while, but seeing as I know little about Linux, my friend told me I'd have to 'learn Linux' before I got one. Surely, it can't be that hard? Can anyone tell me what I'd actually have to know to run a dedicated server, from my stage?
