I am looking for a domain to release some scripts. I am looking for something that is:
Easy to remember
Has my name in it
Isn't limited to a certain kind of script (like PHPscripts, PERLscripts, JAVAscripts)
SJaguarScripts.com (Doesn't sound quite right)
SJaguarsScripts.com (Sounds better, but has the double S)
ScriptsBySjaguar.com (I don't know)
Modulus

I think it'd be much better without the 's' JaguarScripts.com or similar.. I think the 's' greatly hurts it for easy branding, etc. Unless people know you personally, it is useless (I still prefer JaguarScripts.com even though I do know you...)

I guess Sjaguarscripts, but I like Modulus' "Jaguarscripts", that's cool :D
Definitely sjaguarscripts. It is shorter by one character, and it sounds better. jaguar sounds better than jaguars in my opinion.

i punched up "other". Does a jaguar have scripting ability? But you could have a cool logo like a pouncing jaguar. if that's really you then build it. But i think you might pickup a scritping name more easily and use that to hook up eyeballs and revenue.

s hurts a lot of names unless you are using a name similar to Domain Forums. Domain Forum is alright, but I think Domain Forums sounds better. Having more than one Forum within a community is more like it.

The S they are talking about is at the beginning, not the end.

I know that. I should have put "changed subject". That was my mistake. When I saw branding and the "s" hurting it, I immediately thought about the s at the end. Sorry there sjags.

I got six votes. I think that's all I am going to get, unless Donny, NuPixel, or Gayble votes. Even then, it looks like not having the double S in the middle wins no matter what.
Why are you going with this to release domain scripts? This wouldn't be the easiest thing to remember. I know many domains are already taken, but maybe finding something a little easier? Just a suggestion.

It's going to be linked of my site, which already gets hits. Plus, the scripts are going to be listed at:
HotScripts.com
Scripts.com
ResourceIndex.com
and any other places I find. The scripts are going to be released free, so if you can't find it, I don't really care.

Maybe you can put them on my site too if I ever get it up.

What do you mean by a master script directory?
Hotscripts.com?

Wouldn't that be kind of broad?

There is DMOZ and the Yahoo Directoy.
It took me quite a while before my sites have been listed on DMOZ. I thought it was quick, but guess not. Yahoo was very fast, MSN was very fast, Google was eh a little slower. Sure once you're listed it all goes uphill from there. Of course using the proper keywords is a must. :)
