Namewinner and Pool wouldn't be selling your domain. You let it expire and they register it....you get nothing.

Yeah... I don't want to let them expire, I want to sell them lol

what about Craigslist? I bet you could get a lot of new eyeballs that way. So many people there are looking to build websites and hire people. Find the right client for a music site and bingo the work's all done.

Hmm, never thought of craigslist, I guess I'll check that out.
Here is my shortlist.
DomainForums.com
Dnforum.com
NamePros.com
SitePointForums.com
Sedo.com
...in that order.

Alright... here's another question, do you guys think it's worth paying to sell your domains? At a site such as... sitepoint? Do you have better luck?

nope it is not worth it. Because if you don't sell it, what was the point?

*shrug* That's what I wanted to know, sitepoint charges something like 4.95 per listing. I didn't think it'd be worth it.

It depends. I paid to become a member of DNForum to sell domains. I paid to sell domains on eBay. I wouldn't sell a domain on SitePoint or Go Daddy's domain auction unless I knew it had a chance of selling fairly well. Even then, I would check out the other places first to make a sale.

Is DNForum pretty good for selling?
Domain Forums are great for selling domains. After all the main topic of the Forum is domain names. I have sold some domains via Forums. Also if you want a brokerage service.

Domain Forums is fairly good, but your posts can easily get pushed to the third or fourth page. They are great if you have traffic domains or a domain that is bringing in revenue. They aren't as good for other domains because they are not end users of the domain, they are also going to sell it. I bought several domains from them and I got them for less than the regisrar fee. If someone is looking for a domain and doesn't care about hits or revenue, everyone one the forum starts sending replies.
What I basically do is:
Domain gets hits/revenue - DNforum.com
No hits/revenue, but brandable - hold on to it
Brandable, but easily developable (or the above held for a long time) - Throw something up and eBay it
The above, but has potential - run the site myself
The above, but not making as much as I want - sell the developed site at various forums (DNForum, NamePros, ect), if no buyers, it goes to eBay
If it gets no hits and is not brandable I ask myself, "why did I buy this?"
Have you sold domains at DNForum though?
Yeah I have before.

Nope, it's honestly not worth it, well if you had a high valued domain, then it probably would be worth it, otherwise, it wouldn't, just a waste of money I guess.. with all these fees being introduced to SitePoint, people are starting to leave..
