I was recently reading something about how a .net or .com domain name can drive more traffic to whatever the opposite extension is. Say it is Weird.com, someone owning weird.net would get a lot of traffic if Weird.com was very popular. I guess this is why they ask you to register all domain names, so people don't mooch off of your traffic.

It's interesting. Anyone here have any domain names that are the .com or .net's counterpart?

It's true, people do like to "experiment" and they're always looking to see what they can find using different extensions :)
