what i want to do is register a new domain name at the reg cost and then sell it at profit. Is this possible?. and if so how would you go about it?

Register a name you think is good or try find a list of expired domains there are loads of places to get these.
www.geek.name is an ok one . but do a search and you'll find better ones. hope this helps.

Thanks, i went on geek.name, and found a domain name, questionnaire.name with google ref 53,000,000 so thought that was quite good, although not sure of the .name ext is any good. Am i looking the right way or is there a better way to search this site?

I say experiment and see how you get on. Personally I would keep away with the .name for starters and try sticking with .coms or .nets - have a search for some names related to things you are interested in and then look to develop the sites. It wont happen over night but perhaps in a years time you will have something worth selling. Good Luck

yes correct you should stick to .com's . you could sell them easily as compared to .name
