coolish there are some excellent domains matching this for auction n this site. one is phpcode.net i think...others. check it out. i would urge you to build it and develop it the name is important but people are usually willing to take one look firts, win sticky uniques with that look and the name will turn into a secondary thing. Just names don't always carry the day.

Mate, the only advice I can give to you is "Use your imagination"

When you use your imagination with domains, anything is possible. Trust me.

codemasters.com
Is it just for programming tutorials, or will there be graphically related tutorials aswell?

Codemasters.com is a great name! :D not sure if it's available or not, but I'm pretty sure it is because you wouldn't be recommending it if it wasn't.. or unless someone registered it without giving credit..

Since I'm bored, I'll help think of some names :)

These are all available:

maxprogramming.net
simplacode.com
code2extreme.com
codes4all.net
codingmasters.net
codeplatoon.com
codesdb.com (Codes Database)
codinghq.com (Coding Headquarters)
happycoding.net
happycoders.net (.com, .org taken!)
codemaxi.com
codetaxi.com
coding2themax.com

I can think of better names, but that's all I can think of at the moment.. :D

I use http://www.domainsite.com to look up the availability of domains, and if http://www.domainsite.com isn't working, I'll use a more reliable source like http://www.register.com or http://www.godaddy.com :D

Alright, if you ever get tired of having to put in the security codes, you can use telnet, and just type "whois yoursite.com" and it will give you the complete info on that site.

Ok, I went to start and then I went to run and typed "telnet" and it opened the Microsoft Telnet Client.

I then typed "whois domainsite.com" without the speech marks to test it out, but I get an error:

Invalid Command: type ?/help for help.

Do it online then. Just go to allwhois.com or dnsstuff.com and you can do everything.

Yes, I know you can do it online but, yeah, I was just testing it out and it didn't work and when I typed in ?/help it didn't come up with any commands like "whois" it just had "connect" and a bunch of other unrelated commands.

What Operating System are you using at present?

Gayble // You need to be connected to a server first. Sorry, forgot to tell you that. =/ Maybe you can FTP into your server via Telnet, then try the whois command.
