That is incredibly cheap! but, doesn't GoDaddy only accept payments through CC funded PayPal accounts? If not, I'll definitely be taking advantage of this little trick, just hope you keep to your word that it is legal ;)

Wow, great trick. That's the lowest price for domains that are paid via PayPal. I wish they could keep this going for a longer period time.

You can get your domains for under $4 dollars at domainsarefree.com. But, they don't accept Paypal, and only Credit Cards.

I don't remember if I've posted this already, but a few months ago, Netfirms had a free domain name blowout, and gave free .com and .ca domain names to Canadians (I'm Canadian btw). Well, there was a catch of course. You had to pay a $2.99 CAD (around $1.99 USD) shipment fee for a 'free' Netobjects CD. So, it's basically a free domain plus a free CD plus free shipping for $2 USD. I tried to register more than one domain name, but it won't let me. I think the url was like www.netfirms.ca/123. They took the page off now, so it won't work anymore.

hmm the domains are normally $8.95 which is a little more than the $6.99 being charged at DomainSite, so when the $1.99 offer is off will the prices go back to $8.95 or is there anyway to make that cheaper (around $5.95 or lower, or same price as DomainSite)? :) Thanks in advance.

Wow 4.19 for a domain name. I have seen Registrars with a cheaper price though. This is just a deal correct?

Yeah, but you might be required to add your Paypal account to your GoDaddy account.

I bought hosting from GoDaddy and I had a hard time removing it from my account. Every month, I kept being charged. I eventually maxed out my credit card (thanks to eBay) and then they dropped the hosting. Are the email things monthly charges?

Godaddy has way too much questions they ask if you want to cancell your account. I just put 'please, no questions', but they still ask me why I don't like their service and stuff like that.

hmn sounds likes they have a pretty firm rep for trying to leverage their registrar-ness against customers.
