Hey,

What in your opinion is the best domain extension after .com? I have been giving it a lot of thought recently and I am caught in two minds between .org and .net.

I would be interested to hear everyone’s thoughts on the subject.

Thanks,
Jon

Really depends on the nature of the website. Generally, I'd say .net though.

It has to be .com. Without the .com, I wouldn't bother registering a website. :)

I usually say .com
Reason: It's the most common domain extention around, and the most well known.

Other than the .com I usually buy the .net, .org and .co.uk of domains that I have, especially if I am going to develop the .com domain into a website...

If it was a year back I'd say .net however today I'd really go for the more suitable domain. Meaning if it was for a US audience I'd get the .us. However I really like .ws for development. :)

I like .org and .info after .com...

I didn't really like .info when it first came out, but now I do think it is really useful for people and companies that use it
