I've just heard about this TLD - it's apparently going to be available in November sometime but you can pre-register a domain now for free from many websites.

From what I've read on domain registrars, business and trademarked names get priority on the domains so if you pre-register a domain that they have the right to then unlucky, it's theirs. Also if you pre-register now your put onto a list for that domain, depends on when you pre-ordered it you get it or something, I'm not completely sure but just thought this would be an interesting subject.

I tried pre-registering webmaster.eu and I am very doubtful that I will actually get it, are any of you going to pre-register any domains with the .eu extension?

All .eu have been pre-registered long before when this subject was hot and I highly doubt you will get webmaster.eu =)

However there are probably some great .eu domains still available and I think I'm just going to wait till its open and try to grab a few :)

Thanks for informing me. I also highly doubt I'll get webmaster.eu but what the heck - if you don't try you never know, right? :)
